With the Nokia N8 on our horizons there is a sense of anxiety arrival from the Nokia camp. Will it do well or well it dive? Well an impressive spec list seems to push it towards the more successful end of the spectrum, but there is an awful lot of pressure on the N8 to do well as the Finnish Comm. Legends have lost there edge lately; pushing some real stonkers of there output line.
The Nokia N8 is very good seeing and comes in a number of colour variations, and though its normal size (113.5 x 59.1 x 12.9mm) aren't entirely pocket friendly, it is still very nice to handle. The 3.5 inch Amoled display is impressive, the screen is capacitive, which means it supports multi touch input and it can display over 16M colours in a 360 x 640 pixel formation. The screen also has an accelerometer for Ui rotation and a nearnessy sensor which switches the phone to sleep while it is not being used.
As promised, the N8 is debuting the new Symbian ^3 Operating principles which combines a simple user interface with online collective networks and news feeds. The N8's interface is application based with apps for collective networking, gaming, messaging and web surfing all arrival in the thorough setup, but supplementary apps can be downloaded thanks to the Ovi Store. Along with applications the store has tons of themes and wallpapers to decorate the phones interface.
The phones messaging features consist of a threaded Sms format, Mms, Instant Messaging with Ovi preserve and e-mail with the likes of Hotmail and Gmail being compatible. The on-screen keyboard can be accessed by flipping the phone to landscape; it is well sized and thanks to the capacitive screen technology it is very responsive. collective networking is now a life primary and with dedicated Facebook and Twitter applications the N8 is a great tool for Sns management.
Nokia have given the phone 2G and 3G network coverage, Class 33 Edge and Gprs data network connectivity and Wi Fi. So seeing and maintaining a high download speeds and reliable web connections is no question at all. The phones Sns and YouTube applications advantage heavily from this as does the phones e-mail client. The Nokia N8 can chronicle with compatible hardware via the microUsb connection or wireless Bluetooth technology. A-Gps supports the phones navigation features which consolidate Ovi Maps 3.0 and Stereo Fm Radio comes as standard.
The well endowed Nokia has a very nice 12Mp snapper on the back which comes well equipped with some Carl Zeiss Optics, Af and Xenon flash. Some other cool features consist of face detection and a Nd filter. Hd 720p video capture is potential at about 25fps and an Hdmi connection lets you play your high def videos on the big screen. The media centre incorporates a video player and a music player and both can carry on a selection of formats without a hitch.
There are some impressive figures surrounding the Nokia N8 already, some big numbers, some high tech specifications and a huge number of responsibility. Nokia are relying on this phone to re-launch there brand.
